A word from the Mayor
Hello, I’m Randall Hutto and I’m seeking a third term as your mayor of Wilson County. Over the past 8 years, it’s been my honor and privilege to work with and for you. We have done our very best to improve communication with our citizens and maintain transparency in government. Throughout my tenure, we’ve increased teacher salaries; placed an SRO in every county school; stayed on top of the school building program set by the Board of Education; increased emergency services in every corner of the county and brought in new and exciting events and activities to improve your quality of life, not to mention a large pool of quality paying jobs. We are constantly looking for ways to be fiscally conservative and stretching every dollar wherever possible which has allowed us to give Wilson County a strong financial foundation. Please take a few moments to look over the website. Its pages will provide you with evidence of the things we’ve accomplished while in office.
Our county is thriving. With your help and support, we can and will do more. We strive daily to find ways to better serve you and make Wilson County the best it can be. An “open-door” policy remains important to us so that every citizen has an opportunity to have their voice heard. We have visited with many of you in your homes, places of business and in our office to resolve issues and hear your opinions on how to improve our county. I look forward to those visits in the future. You, the citizens, are Wilson County’s most valuable asset and our office strives to provide you with the best customer service possible. If integrity, honesty and proven leadership are qualities you value in your county mayor, then I humbly, ask for your support and vote.
Early voting is July 13th-July 28th and election day is August 2nd.
Your Humble Servant,
Randall Hutto, Wilson County Mayor
